As you may know, Damson & Wilde joined the Gusto Pronto family from City Pub Group on 13th November. Since then, we’ve been busy getting to know D&W better throughout a busy festive period. We’ve looked at what already works well and what we need to focus on and change to make your experience even better.
We’re all about hospitality at Gusto. We’ve been working closely with the D&W team to really enhance the service and overall customer experience you receive from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave. We’ll continue to focus on this every step of the way.
We’ve also spent time looking at what Damson & Wilde has been and developing what we want it to become. Our next step is to launch new food & drink menus from 1st February.
What is Damson & Wilde? In just a few words, it’s ‘Drink, Graze, Dine’.
If you’ll indulge us for a little longer, we’d love to elaborate…
Drink:
Join us for wines selected by our wine shop Vino Gusto, a craft beer from our Brewshed brewery, classic cocktails or mocktails, our own coffee blend roasted down the road by Crude or a locally sourced soft drink.
Graze:
Graze our menu how you want to. Some nibbles, a sharing board or go for a few small plates.
Dine:
The heart of our menu is simple. Well sourced seasonal ingredients, cooked simply, served with what you enjoy most. Our food served your way.
For mains, choose from locally sourced meat, UK landed fish or go plant based. Choose your side and sauce or butter to complete the dish then leave the rest to us.
We’ve added some carefully selected starters, sharing boards, a range of burgers and delicious desserts. On Sundays you can also enjoy great roasts with the same focus on local produce. We’ll continue to serve food all day every day.
The final but significant element of our new food offering is our set menu. This is a small but perfectly formed, fast changing and great value menu with 2 courses for £18.50 or 3 for £22.50 available every Monday to Friday from 12 noon until 6.00pm. Perfect at any time but especially if you’re in search of an early pre-theatre (or Apex) dinner.
